A little about Toby
Toby is your typical high school bookworm. The kid that everyone else likes to pick on. He loves to get good grades and is really rather confused on what gender he would rather date.

Though Toby is an identical twin to his brother Vince, they have so much... well not in common it's uncanny. Toby loves to make good grades while his brother loves to flirt. Toby also doesn't get out much and doesn't party that often, but when he does thats a whole can of worms opened.


Toby is just a random character I made up based around a stereotypical nerd, but with some little tweaks here and there to make him unique.

I don't know why I'm even writing any of this down... Vince keeps telling me if I rant all my feelings to an inanimate object maybe people wouldn't think I was so much of a nerd... however I think it'll just make things worse.
I've always known that Vince and I were complete opposites, but when he told me he was gay... I just freaked out. I kept thinking "If were twins, Identical in practically every way physically... am I gay?" So yeah... the world of questioning just had to start in.

I always had to hang out with my brother, we were what most would say your typical twin set. Always keeping an eye on each other and always making sure we were understanding of the other. I don't really know when it happened but things slowly changed. He decided to cut his hair and dye it and get all of these piercings and basically gave himself a bad-ass look. I kept my normal look and enjoyed reading books and being on time. Vince... not so much. Vince tended to hang out with more and more girls as high school went on and I never could figure it out... until that one day I sorta found out the hard way.
I happened to come home early from a math meet after school and mom and dad were out for the weekend. You know how parents just need a break. Well anyway I came into the house and there was music, loud music, coming from Vince's room. Not unusual at all but it always annoys me so I went into what at the time was 'our' room and was going to tell him to turn down the music but he was sitting on his bed making out with some guy from school.
I didn't know what to say I just dropped my books and turned right around.
Vince always tried to explain it all to me but I just didn't want to know... didn't want to think about it.

I think about that now and realize that even if my brothers gay, he's still my brother. I love him, not in that sexual sort of way just because one were both guys and two were related so it just makes it wrong. I'm glad he finds people who make him happy, I just wish it wouldn't make me question things about myself...
